Six Months in Provence

Why?

Because we’ve always wanted to. Our plans have changed slightly: when we left university, we intended to spend a year in Africa or the far east working for some charity or other. But the end of our degrees was staggered because of Becky’s four year course – and ever since then our jobs have done the same. Then we had the twins and knew that it was now or never: fly to Morocco and drive back in a camper van through Spain and France, taking a year to do the journey. Then Luca appeared and our plans changed again.
I’ve been running Sparks for 10 years, so a six month unpaid break sounds like a great idea. The kids aren’t in school yet, so it really is now or never. We chose to do it now.

    Great blog!

It is a bone-us for us that we get Sam the Dog to join our houshold for the duration.

What a lovely way to share your plans and travels with us! Not sure what your book will be about but it could be interesting for others to see some travel guidance / experiences as to how to take a sabbatical with three [very] little ones on tow…. Sounds already exhausting. We hope all goes well with you and we will look up your updates as you progress. Good luck and safe journey!
